Who it's for
Your salon books appointments while your hands are busy
Appointments by service and by stylist, confirmed and reminded on WhatsApp while you carry on with the client in your chair. It knows how long each service takes, never double-books and takes a deposit on the long ones.

How long do highlights with a cut take?
-
Hi, I’m the AI assistant for Estudio Marea. Highlights with a cut take about two and a half hours. I have Tuesday at 11:00 and Thursday at 16:30. If you’d rather speak to a person, type ‘person’.
-
Thursday, and with Sara if possible
-
Sara is free on Thursday at 16:30. For appointments over two hours we ask for a €20 deposit, which comes off the price of the service. I’ll hold the slot while you pay it here, by Bizum or card.

What it does in a salon
In a salon, WhatsApp goes off when your hands are in someone’s hair. ‘How long do highlights take?’, ‘have you got anything on Saturday morning?’, ‘can I move Thursday to Friday?’. They get answered on a break or after closing, and by then some of those people have booked elsewhere. Others don’t even chase it up: if they don’t see a reply fairly quickly, they try the salon down the road, which may well have someone keeping an eye on the phone.
Conserjía answers that WhatsApp in under a minute, at any hour, with the salon’s real diary in front of it:
- Bookings by service and by stylist. A cut doesn’t take as long as highlights or a facial. The assistant knows that, and only offers slots where the whole service fits with the person the client wants. No double bookings, no overlaps.
- Confirmation in the same chat. Day, time, service and who’s doing it, in a message the client can find when they look for it the night before.
- Reminders that expect a reply. The day before, with the option to confirm, move or cancel. Whoever was going to miss it says so, and the slot goes back into the diary in time to give it to someone else.
- Changes and cancellations. ‘Can I move it to Friday?’ sorts itself out: it frees the old slot, offers two times and confirms the new one.
- Deposits on long services. You choose which ones (a colour, a ninety-minute treatment, bridal hair) and how much. The appointment is confirmed when the deposit arrives, by card (or Bizum in Spain).
- Prices and the usual questions. Price list, how long things take, opening hours, address, whether to come with clean hair, whether a colour needs a patch test first. With the information you give it, and not a line more.
It’s what you would do yourself if your hands were free. The difference is that it happens at ten on a Sunday night, or at five in the afternoon with one client at the basin and another waiting for the dryer.
What it doesn’t do
- It doesn’t give advice on hair, skin or treatments. If someone asks whether blonde will suit them, or whether they can have a colour with an allergy, it passes them to the person you choose.
- It doesn’t make up prices or timings, or offer discounts. It answers with your price list and nothing else. If a service isn’t on it, it says so and asks.
- It doesn’t make the delicate calls. A complaint, a colour correction or a client who wants a stylist who’s on holiday reaches a person, with the whole conversation in front of them.
- It doesn’t replace you. Any client can type ‘person’ and talk to you or whoever you choose.
A day with Conserjía
You open at ten with the diary up to date. What came in last night is booked in, each appointment with its stylist and its service, and the long ones with the deposit paid. The 12:00 cancellation isn’t a dead slot: it has been free in the diary since the client said she couldn’t come, and the assistant offers it to the first person who asks about this morning.
During the day, every message gets an answer without anyone putting down the scissors or taking off their gloves. What the assistant can’t sort out doesn’t hang in the air: it alerts you or whoever you choose, with the conversation in front of you, and the client knows a person will get back to them. That’s why there are zero unanswered messages. In the afternoon the reminders go out for tomorrow’s appointments, and the replies (‘yes’, ‘can I do 12 instead?’, ‘sorry, I can’t make it’) are handled on their own.
When you close, you have a sheet with what happened: how many conversations, how many new appointments, how many deposits taken and which ones went to a person, and why. Once a month we go through it with you, with figures, to adjust whatever needs it: a service time that was wrong, a treatment nobody ever asked for by its name, a price that changed.
The assistant talks like your salon, with your service names and your way of treating people. It introduces itself as an AI assistant in its first message, as required under EU law (AI Act, art. 50), and always offers to put the client through to someone on your team. Conversations are hosted in the European Union (the language model is a processor in the United States under standard contractual clauses, as the privacy policy explains, in Spanish), and the WhatsApp account is yours, in your business’s name.
Who it’s for
For hairdressers, barbers, beauty salons, nail and lash bars and treatment rooms that take bookings on WhatsApp and have nobody free to answer the phone. It works the same for one person working alone as for a team, because each stylist has their own diary and their own services.
We use it ourselves. Conserjía is a brand of Vera Senses SL, and its beauty studio in Madrid has handled its bookings this way, on WhatsApp and Instagram, since summer 2026.
If you get three or four messages a day, you don’t need it: with WhatsApp Business quick replies and a good greeting and away message you’ll manage fine by hand. If you get many more and they’re answered late, book a demo. It’s a 30-minute video call, and if you bring three real conversations from your WhatsApp we’ll go through them on your own diary. Set-up takes three weeks.

Book a demoFrequently asked questions
Does it work with the booking system I already use in the salon?
It works with the diary you already use. In the demo we look at your case and tell you whether it connects directly or how we would do it. What doesn’t change is the basic rule: the diary is in charge, and the assistant only offers the slots it shows as free.
How does it know how long each service takes and who does it?
You tell it when we set it up: your services, how long each one takes, which stylist does what and the gap you want between appointments. With that it only offers slots where the whole service fits with that person, and it won’t squeeze highlights into a half-hour gap.
Do I have to take a deposit from everyone?
No. You decide which services need one and how much. The assistant sends the payment link in the chat (card, or Bizum in Spain) and the appointment is confirmed when the deposit arrives. All other appointments are confirmed without paying anything.
What doesn’t it do?
It doesn’t give advice on anyone’s hair or skin, doesn’t invent prices or timings and doesn’t give discounts. A tricky colour, a correction, an allergy or a complaint goes to the person you choose, with the conversation in front of them.
